Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE) membership gives you recognition from your peers, clients and employers of your level of competency.
To be awarded membership you have to demonstrate that you are working against the CABE Competency Frameworks. From 1 January 2020 a revised membership grade structure, including a new grade of membership, linked to new Competency Frameworks will come
into force. These new frameworks have been introduced to ensure that they meet current sector expectations and are fit for the future, enabling CABE members to be professionals that warrant the trust that clients and the public have of us.
From a student studying a relevant course, to an experienced professional within the built environment, CABE has a wide range of membership opportunities. Please read the membership competency frameworks carefully to fully understand the correct grade of membership for you.
Membership Competency Frameworks
Student membership is free for all students enrolled on a relevant course within the built environment for the duration of your studies.
