CABE Chartered Membership demonstrates a clear commitment to high ethical standards, to cross sector collaboration, and to continuous professional development.
Chartered Member (MCABE) grade recognises your professional competence and commitment to the industry.
Chartered Members (MCABE) maintain and manage the application of current and developing technology, whilst understanding a wide range of activities including engineering, design, inspection, development, manufacture, construction, and
operation.
To achieve the Chartered Member grade, you must demonstrate that you meet the competencies mapped out in the Chartered Member (MCABE) Competency Framework.
PLEASE NOTE:
Following the introduction of BS Flex 8670 and UK Standards for Professional Engineering Competence and Commitment (UK-SPEC) fourth edition, CABE introduced new Competency Frameworks in February 2023.
