CABE's Hong Kong office opened in 2020, strengthening the links between CABE HQ and CABE Members in the Asia Pacific region.

CABE Hong Kong aims to share knowledge, raise standards and develop professionals throughout the global construction industry; the Hong Kong Chapter Committee and the Hong Kong office staff are dedicated to providing CABE services for members and professional colleagues in the region.

Kyran is the founder and Chair of KYSS Properties, a company which specialises in property investment of scale HK$5-20 billion in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, PRC; Property Development in Hong Kong SAR and Japan, and Project Management.

Before Kyran became a property investor and developer, he was one of the four founders of the largest architectural group in the world with 40 international offices and over 2,500 staff. Kyran was the Managing Director, Project Director and Authorised Person upon many of the company’s large-scale projects, with an annual fee income of over HK$2.3 billion. The company has won numerous international prizes in architectural and interior design, quality building and construction management.

Kyran is involved in over 80 voluntary, institutional and charity organisations. He was elected 40+ Distinguished Fellow by the 40+ Association in 2012. He was awarded the Medal of Honour by the HKSAR Government for his outstanding professional achievements and services to the community in 2017.

Mr Chu joined the Hong Kong Government as a Works Supervisor in the Public Works Department in 1977. He worked as an Assistant Factory Inspector in the Labour Department and retired after 31 years of service in the post of a Divisional Occupational Safety Officer.

For over 20 years, he has been a part-time lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Middlesex University, Open University, Vocational Training Council, Hong Kong Institute of Construction and the Occupational Safety and Health Council. He is currently a freelance Safety Consultant and has been invited by the Contractor’s Authorised Signatory Association as the Advisor in Workplace Safety since 2015. He is also the Safety Advisor at the Hong Kong Waste Disposal Industry Association.

Vivian is the General Manager of CABE Hong Kong. She is responsible for the daily operation, enhancing communication with members and working partners and upholding the reputation of one of the most internationally recognised associations in Hong Kong and beyond.

Before joining CABE, Vivian had experience in the areas of corporate governance and public sector management where she was instrumental in providing efficient secretarial support to a local leading professional institute and a regulatory body.  Her remit included membership processing and benefits, media relations, disciplinary proceedings, set-up of Biennale Foundation and Beijing Representative Office, key event planning and execution, as well as sponsorship activities.

After graduating with BA honours in translation, Vivian obtained a distinction in the Master of Arts in International Communication from the Macquarie University, Australia. She is also Master of Science in Public Sector Management.
