Society for the Environment Registration

Society for the Environment

Registration

As a CABE member, you can register with the Society for the Environment (SocEnv) as either a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), a Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP), or Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech).

SocEnv registration allows you to demonstrate your competence and dedication to protecting the environment.

Why Register

CABE members work across the construction industry in a variety of different job specialisms including building control, surveying, architecture, and planning. Building Engineers might have different job roles, but one thing they all have in common is that their input into projects influences the landscapes, ecosystems and social environments around them, whether on a local, national or international level.

By achieving a SocEnv registration, you demonstrate your commitment to good practice. It clearly shows that you consider environmental and sustainable options before and during projects in order to minimise damage now and in the future.

Being awarded CEnv membership has been very positive for me personally and for my employer. It’s given me access to a network of other professionals and adds a significant distinction to the sustainability work that Rands do.
