2025 marks 100 years of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers.
To highlight this milestone, celebrate our history and raise some money whilst we do it, the CABE HQ staff took on the journey from HQ to HK in 2025.
Starting on 1 January, employees cumulatively walked the equivalent distance from Lutyens House in Northampton, all the way to our Hong Kong office in Kowloon - approximately 6,000 miles.
Happily, we surpassed this target by the end of August 2025, reaching a total of 6,513 miles!
Through kind donations, we also raised vital funds for CABE's chosen charities for 2025, Shelter and Cork University Hospital - a total of just over £300.
Our thanks to all those who supported our fundraising efforts for CABE's centenary year.
