As a CABE member you can apply to register
with the Engineering Council as either an Engineering Technician (EngTech), an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or as a Chartered Engineer (CEng). The Engineering Council acts as a regulatory body within the engineering profession, ensuring standards and
competencies that support a safer, better society. Obtaining Engineering Council registration provides you with an internationally recognised marker of confidence of the level of your experience and expertise. Engineering Council registration is only undertaken
by licensed organisations such as CABE.
Why Register
Upon acquiring registration with the Engineering Council, you, your employer, and society will all benefit. From increased influence and career prospects and international recognition to employer assurance that you have passed a rigorous assessment
and hold credibility, Engineering Council registration is emblematic of high standards, practice, ethics, training, and service to industry.
