Booking & Attendance

By booking online for access to an online CABE training course or CABE E-Learning content, you are agreeing to abide by these Terms and Conditions and the Events Booking Terms and Conditions.

To attend a CABE online training course, an individual must meet any eligibility criteria that may be set for attendance* and have paid the requisite fee. 

In order to attend a CABE online training course, an attendee must first complete an online registration form. 

As a requirement for the operation of the online training course, during the registration process you will be asked to provide information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you (“Personal Information”).

By registering, consent is also given (where required) for your application details to be provided to the online-training platform provider, for them to set up your access to the online training course. Details of any relevant online-training platform provider will be supplied upon request. 

*Online training courses (with the exception of CABE E-Learning Courses) are open to members and non-members. 

CPD

The amount of CPD attached to each online training course will be stated on the course’s registration page. 

Access

CABE will provide registrants with log-in details and a link to the website where the online training course will be hosted. The right to access the training course is personal to you and you are not permitted to transfer your rights to access the training to another person unless we have consented in writing to you doing so. 

Participation in online training may require you to configure your software settings on your web device upon first use. 

We do not make any commitment that the training course materials will be compatible with or operate with your software or hardware, however we recommend that you ensure your device is fully up to date with the latest version of the operating system etc. Some applications may require you to temporarily disable add blockers. Please get in touch with training@cbuilde.com with any concerns regarding compatibility or if you wish to test the application. 

CABE will endeavour to facilitate uninterrupted access to the online training, but access may be suspended, restricted or terminated at any time. CABE reserves the right to remove an individual from an online training course or deny them access to the same, without giving justification. 

CABE E-Learning

Access to CABE E-Learning is restricted to CABE Members only. 

CABE E-Learning must be completed within 6 months of purchase, at which time access to the training content will cease.  

Training course variations 

CABE reserves the right to make changes to its course programme, including making alterations to presenters or programme content and/or cancelling/postponing the online training in its entirety. CABE will notify registrants as soon as possible of any applicable changes. 

Copyright

The copyright of the content and material contained within the online training, together with the design, belong to CABE and/or the individual presenter(s). 

The content of the online training must not, in any circumstances, be modified, recorded, broadcast, made available to anyone else to view, reproduced, republished or be redistributed in any way. Any such breach of copyright may lead to legal action.

Online training courses may contain links to or make reference to other websites over which CABE has no control. CABE makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy of information contained on those websites.

Privacy 

CABE takes the privacy and security of your personal information very seriously. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information in accordance with data protection laws. Our Privacy Policy can be found at cbuilde.com/Privacy_Statement.aspx.  

A copy of the online training platform provider’s practices and policy with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of user information collected through the use of their technology services can be obtained directly from the provider.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all representations and warranties (whether express or implied) as to the accuracy of any information contained within the online training course. We also do not guarantee that the content will be fault free or up to date and do not accept any liability for any omissions or errors. 

CABE does not give any warranty that the online-training platform provider’s website is free from viruses or anything else, which may have a harmful effect on any technology.

Our right to vary these Terms and Conditions

CABE reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. 

Law and Jurisdiction

English law applies to these Terms and Conditions.
