CABE Southern Region Centenary Event Discount
- CABE Members that book and attend either the ‘Afternoon Tea at the House of Lords – Southern Region Members’, ‘Steam Train event’ or ‘Solent Cruise event’ (each referred to below as “the Event”) will be eligible to receive a one-time-only £20 discount (“the Discount”) off the price of one other Southern Region event held by CABE in 2025.
- If the CABE Member fails to make prior payment for or attend the Event, then the CABE Member will forfeit their eligibility for the Discount.
- The Discount is applicable to any one of the following events:
- Guildford buildeng (4 June 2025)
- Steam Train event (7 June 2025)
- Solent Cruise (12 July 2025)

Student Upgrade Scheme (Pre-Graduation)
This promotion is for Student members that have not completed their full studies but wish to upgrade their membership before graduating. Having professional membership and a CABE designation after your name boosts your career prospects and demonstrates
your competency. This special offer is available for our Technician and Associate grades and CABE will provide your annual membership at only £95 per year.
- To be eligible, an applicant must be a current Chartered Association of Building Engineers (“CABE”) Student Member and be studying a relevant qualification of degree level, or higher (‘Eligible Applicant’).
- This promotion applies to applications made by Eligible Applicants to upgrade their membership grade to either CABE’s Technician or Associate membership grade (‘The Development Grade’).
- CABE will, at its discretion, reject any application submitted by an applicant who fails to meet the eligibility criteria set for the membership grade they are seeking to upgrade to.

- The applicant’s annual membership fee is due annually, in order to preserve CABE membership, and will remain at the Promotional Price until the applicant has graduated or left the institution where they are studying; at which point the applicant

This Promotion is designed to support graduating Students obtain professional membership at a reduced cost whist they prepare their
Chartered Application. CABE will provide the first year of Associate/Graduate/Technician* membership for only £95 and support them through the Journey to Chartership.
- To be eligible, an applicant must be a current Chartered Association of Building Engineers (“CABE”) Student Member and have graduated with the relevant level of qualification pertaining to the level of membership they are applying for.

Membership Referral Scheme
- To be eligible, a current Chartered Association of Building Engineers (“CABE”) member (referred to below as a “Nominator”) must refer a fellow professional/industry colleague (referred to below as a “Candidate”), for CABE membership.
- The Candidate cannot have held any grade of membership of the CABE previously.
- Membership upgrades do not qualify under this scheme.
- There is no limit on the number of referrals a Nominator may make.
- Referrals must be made using the official Member Referral Scheme form available from the Membership Referral Scheme form.
- Once completed the form should be returned via email to membership@cbuilde.com or via post to CABE, Lutyens House, Billing Brook Road, Northampton, NN3 8NW.
- CABE accepts no responsibility for lost or incomplete applications.
- CABE will contact the Candidate directly, to request their CV for review.
- The Nominator will receive a £50 Amazon Voucher for each candidate who successfully applies for Fellow, Member, Associate, Graduate or Technician CABE membership grades and is admitted to membership.
- No more than one voucher will be issued with respect of each successful candidate.

buildeng Regional Conference and Exhibition: 25% off when booking 4 or more places
- This special offer is only available to persons/organisations (referred to below as an ‘Eligible Party’) whom, at the time of placing their order, are purchasing four or more delegate spaces on any single regional conference and meets all the criteria set out below (‘Eligible Booking’).
- The Offer Discount will only apply if an Eligible Booking is made on or before the offer eligibility date specified on the official event page for each conference.
- Eligible Parties will receive a 25% discount (‘the Offer Discount’) off the booking fee for each Eligible Booking they make (‘Promotional Price’) by entering the promotional code, which will be located on the event registration page, into your booking

- CABE Premium Partners are entitled, instead of the Offer Discount, to an enhanced 30% rate of discount when placing orders for 10-20 tickets or an enhanced 35% discount rate when placing orders for more than 20 tickets. To receive the discount, Premium

- CABE Company Affiliates are eligible to claim the Offer Discount but are not eligible for an enhanced rate of discount.
- The Discount will not be applied to any subsequent booking(s)/booking amendment(s) made, unless a minimum of four additional delegate spaces are being booked.
- Training courses and regional conferences must be booked and paid for prior to attendance.
- In the event of the purchaser cancelling their booking(s), no monies will be refunded for the first of the four regional conference places cancelled. Cancellation requests relating to the remaining regional conference places will be processed in accordance
with CABE’s standard Event Booking terms and conditions.
