CABE will disqualify any entries which it feels do not comply with these terms and conditions or where any form of bad faith is suspected.
Any entries which fail to demonstrate the significant involvement of a current member of CABE will be deemed invalid. Project must have been completed during 2019 to be eligible for nomination. CABE accepts no liability for any inaccurate information
contained within any submitted entry as it is the responsibility of the applicant to provide accurate information.
Any submissions for which compliance with all legislative and statutory requirements is not evident, and no satisfactory explanation is available, will be deemed invalid.
All entries must be made using the official submission form and must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org,
in person or by email . Entry opens at 09:00 on 3 February 2020, and the deadline for entries and supporting information for all awards is at 17:00 on 31 May 2020. CABE reserves the right to extend this deadline and will publish details on this
website, if this is the case.
CABE will, at its discretion, accept additional supporting information via other mediums or file sharing websites. Separate entries will need to be submitted for each award that a project is nominated for. CABE accepts no responsibility for lost or incomplete
entries and reserves the right to use material submitted in published form.
CABE will contact all nominated individuals and organisations to notify them that they are under consideration and parties submitting projects for consideration are expected to adhere to these terms and conditions. The
Awards Panel will grant awards in accordance with CABE Built Environment Award Assessment Criteria, a copy of which can be found
on the CABE website and submission form.
The Association's Award Panel reserves the right to refuse entries without giving justification.
The Awards Panel reserves the right not to issue an award if, in the opinion of the judges, no entry reaches the standard considered necessary. The decisions of the Awards Panel will be final and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
Award winners will be announced at CABE Annual Conference & Exhibition during the Gala Black-Tie Awards Dinner on 2 October 2020. CABE will contact shortlisted parties
and invite them to book a table at the Awards Dinner. CABE does not provide free attendance to the Awards Dinner for winners, nor shortlisted organisations. Award winners and shortlisted parties agree to the publication of their name on a local, national
and international level and to participate in any publicity relating to CABE's 2020 Awards and 2021 Awards. Videography and photography will be taken during the Awards Dinner and interviews may be requested with Award winners post-event.
