The use of CABE’s logos is indicative of a company’s professionalism and competence. The CABE logo gives customers and clients the comfort that they are dealing with a company that can be trusted to work to the highest professional standards.
All CABE’s Company Partners are obligated to comply with the requirements of the CABE Code of Professional Conduct and Guide to Ethical Professionalism which further protects all stakeholders; and it is for this reason that CABE strives to ensure that
only companies who have successfully applied to be a CABE Company Partner are displaying the relevant Company Partnership logo.
From time to time, companies that are not associated with CABE will misrepresent their relationship dishonestly by displaying the CABE logo in an attempt to mislead its current, or future customers. This is known as Intellectual Property Infringement.
What does CABE do about it?
When we discover a company is using our logo, or claiming to be associated with us, incorrectly we will write and ask them to remove all claims that they are associated with CABE. Unfortunately, sometimes they fail to comply with our request, and this
results in the company being reported to Trading Standards.
If you suspect a company is misrepresenting their relationship with CABE, please notify us using the contact form below.
