The Society for the Environment (SocEnv) is delighted to announce the return of EnvCast, their monthly podcast.

EnvCast: Environment Top 5
Each month, SocEnv welcome two expert environmental professionals on to the podcast to explore what they believe to be the ‘top 5’ things to consider within a particular topic. Topics range from climate to leadership, agriculture to AI, and everything in between.

Who’s featured?
The selection of guests featured on EnvCast is as diverse as SocEnv’s register, with the podcasts featuring registered environmental professionals from across a variety of disciplines.

Just a few episodes into the new ‘top 5’ format, the podcast has so far featured:
• longstanding contributors to the SocEnv Soils and Stones project, Jonathan Atkinson CEnv MIEnvSc and Robert Earl CEnv FIWater on the relationship between soil and water.
• David Linsley-Hood CEnv and Julie Bhatti CEnv on the impacts of renewable energy on the environment; and
• Astrid Wynne CEnv and Dominic Walking CEnv offering advice and experience on how best to use AI at work.
