Event Summary

This one-day course takes delegates through BS 9999, concentrating primarily on the use of the code in design of means of escape from fire. It includes a short practical exercise and comparison of results with traditional codes.

Neil Eaton

Technical Director for BB7

Neil is a Technical Director at BB7 Consulting. He has been involved in fire-related work for over 40 years, having worked for 25 years in a variety of roles in a local authority fire service prior to taking up roles in fire engineering. Neil’s fire service roles included operational firefighting and incident command, fire investigation and technical fire safety inspection and enforcement.

As a fire engineer Neil brings a wealth of experience from his fire service background to inform and complement his technical knowledge and experience in fire safety design of buildings across many sectors including healthcare, residential, defence, schools, universities, leisure, commercial and industrial premises. Neil has experience in conducting fire safety assessments and audits.
