As a Registered Building Inspectors (RBIs) your certificate remains valid for four years, but during this time you may need to demonstrate that you are capable of working to an extended scope of competence. CBICAS Scope Extension has been designed to give RBI’s – who registered via CBICAS – a route to evidence competence to undertake restricted activities and functions on additional building categories – the extended scope.
