The report, entitled Guide to Professional Registration, is updated every year and offers everyone from school leavers to employers guidance on the varying pathways, starting with joining a professional engineering institution (PEI) (such as CABE)
and covering routes via degrees, apprenticeships and more.

As per the Engineering Council, this latest updated report explains:

  • how the different engineering organisations work together
  • what professional registration is, including the different registration titles
  • the benefits of professional registration for individuals, employers and society
  • how to become professional registered
  • profiles of licensed PEIs and professional affiliates, outlining their specialisms, missions, professional titles offered and their contact details

Download a free copy of the guidance by visiting the Engineering Council website.

As detailed in this report, CABE is licensed to offer registration with the Engineering Council as either an Engineering Technician (EngTech), an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or as a Chartered Engineer (CEng), as well as Higher-Risk Buildings Registration.
