Industry publication The Engineer has published the findings of its annual salary survey, indicating that professionally registered engineers and technicians earn more than their non-registered peers.

As per the publication, “the results provide a fascinating insight into UK engineering salaries and how engineers are feeling about their careers.” According to these findings, almost half of the respondents were professionally registered, and they earned on average 7k more than those who aren't registered.

Now in its tenth year, the survey delved into a range of areas such as seniority, region, job satisfaction, thoughts on job role changes and potentially leaving the engineering industry, as well as salary, benefits and bonuses.

Find the results in full via The Engineer website.

Don’t forget, you can also access the findings of the recent CABE Employment Survey here.

CABE are licensed to award professional registration with the Engineering Council as EngTech, IEng or CEng, and is one of only five professional engineering institutions in the UK licensed to award professional HRB registration.
