CABE invites successful BCCA candidates to apply for membership

Are you a Registered Building Inspector (RBI) who has passed the Total Training and Development Ltd (TTD) Building Control Competency Assessment (BCCA)?

We invite you to apply for CABE membership.

Successful BCCA candidates may apply for either Technician (Tech CABE) or Associate (ACABE) grade, depending on your level of experience:

BCCA Class 2 + 1 year of experience = Technician Membership (Tech CABE)

BCCA Class 2 + 3 years’ experience = Associate Membership (ACABE)                     

BCCA Class 3 + 2 years’ experience = Associate Membership (ACABE)   

Technician is one of our developmental grades, for those who have just started working in a relevant role and meet the competencies outlined in the Technician Competency Framework.

Associate is a preparatory route to full chartered membership for individuals with more experience and knowledge. Successful TTD candidates should meet the competencies mapped out in the Associate Competency Framework.

For both Tech CABE and ACABE applications, you will need to follow the online application process, submitting your CV and a Personal Statement.

You do not need to provide a technical report or attend a professional interview for either of these grades.
