Updated codes, standards and rules for building control published by Welsh Government

The Welsh Government have issued a building regulations circular, drawing attention to revised versions of standards, rules and codes for the building control profession.

The circular (WGC 005/2025) states that the following have been updated on the Welsh Government website:

  • Building Inspector Competence Framework (BICOF) (Wales)
  • Code of Conduct for Registered Building Inspectors (Wales)
  • Professional Conduct Rules for Registered Building Control Approvers (Wales)
  • Operational Standards Rules (Wales)
  • OSR: Monitoring Arrangements (Wales)
