Republic of Ireland: board elections open in accordance with Building Control Act 2007

Nominations are now open for Registered Building Surveyors in Ireland to stand for election to the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) Statutory Boards and Committees for Registered Building Surveyors, in accordance with the Building Control Act 2007.

In accordance with the Building Control Act 2007, nominations are required for the following positions:

  • one vacancy on the Admissions Board
  • four vacancies on the Professional Conduct Committee; and
  • two vacancies on the Technical Assessment Board.

 

You must be a Registered Building Surveyor in the Republic of Ireland to stand for election in any of the above positions, but you do not have to be a SCSI member.

Nominations close on 14 April 2025, with the election being held on 19 May 2025.
