New Associate Director Roles to Support the Association

September saw Carl Pearson LLM MBCS and Laura Richardson CMgr MCMI begin their new roles as Associate Director Legal, Governance & Operations and Associate Director Marketing and Communications respectively.

Joining CABE in 2018 from Dixons Carphone, Carl is responsible for the Association’s internal legal provision, disciplinary and complaints procedure, IT function, governance and compliance, the Lutyens House training and meeting venue and is also CABE’s Data Protection Officer.

Laura also joined CABE in 2018 and is responsible for the implementation of the Association’s communications strategy across all PR, marketing and digital infrastructure functions.

Commenting on these new positions CABE’s CEO Richard Harral said “I want CABE staff to grow within a resilient , friendly, sustainable organisation shaped to serve our member’s interests. The new Associate Director roles provide Carl and Laura with the opportunity to develop executive level skills; and provide the Association with additional stability and resilience. By having a consistent and strong leadership team we can support the Association, and our members, to grow”.

Carl and Laura will now take on wider strategic and business management responsibilities and will become part of the executive team alongside Richard Harral CABE CEO.
