On 11 December 2023, the CABE Hong Kong Chapter conducted its orientation briefing session for more than 70 students from The Hong Kong College of Technology.  Students attended from a range of different areas of study, ranging from construction project management, building services, civil engineering, and facilities management; coming together to listen to how CABE can support their academic journey.

The orientation presentation was delivered by Mr. Kyran Sze, CABE Hong Kong Chairman.  He welcomed all new students to the Hong Kong College of Technology as they embark on their journey for professional growth.  "Having gone through a few exceptionally challenging years, I am thrilled to introduce CABE to the students from the Hong Kong College of Technology face-to-face for the first time without any hybrid aid.  CABE Hong Kong Chapter and Asia Pacific Office has been gaining continuous support from the Hong Kong College of Technology since its inception.  In the built environment sector, everyone counts.  CABE brings built-environment professionals in different disciplines closer together.  CABE always emphasizes on our members' greater adaptability, so that they will be able to tactfully cope with the ever-changing world in future, and this, actually, is the vale and essence of the Association."  he said.

Ms. Vivian Sie, General Manager of CABE Asia Pacific Region, emphasized the significance of lifelong learning and encouraged students to seek opportunities for international qualifications with global recognized professional bodies to scale new heights.

Students were supplied with the firsthand information on CABE's recent development and how CABE Membership makes a difference to their studies and professional development.  They were also encouraged to stay tuned for the Association's upcoming events, including local and regional CPD activities organised by the CABE International Chapters in Asia Pacific Region.
