Building Safety Act - Changes 1 October 2023

CABE Members in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland who work, or operate in England and Wales, need to be aware of critical changes to legislation coming into effect on 1 October 2023.

In Wales Building Control Registration will follow a similar timescale to England and most other changes will come into force approx. 12 months later.

Many of the changes* affect all building work notifiable under Regulation 3 of the Building Regulations, so it is important that you familiarise yourself with the changes.
