Webinar Wednesday - Exploring the vital importance of Building Inspector Registration

This week's Webinar Wednesday surrounded the topic of Building Inspector Registration. 

The webinar was hosted by CABE Technical Director Richard Harral, who has been the driving force behind CABE's success in becoming approved as an independent scheme provider by the Building Safety Regulator (BSR).

With the introduction of the Building Safety Regulator, all Building Inspectors needed to register with the regulatory body.

Richard discussed the significance of registration for building inspectors, along with the different procedural options and the requirements that needed to be fulfilled to become certified for inspecting buildings, and further insights into the CABE Building Inspector Competence Assessment Scheme. 

The webinar completed with a question and answer session, allowing attendees to ask Richard any questions about the upcoming changes. 

With the introduction of The Building Safety Act (2022), this is the biggest change the system has seen in over 75 years, and the webinar is a must-watch for Members working in Building Control in England.. 

The webinar was attended by over 600 people, and has received great feedback from attendees.
