The Society for the Environment (SocEnv) has selected CABE Member Rory Henderson FCABE CEnv as their latest featured registrant profile for this month
Rory began his career as a Stock Condition Surveyor, after completion of his MSc in Commercial Building Surveying. He then continued on into working for national surveying consultancies as a Project Manager, overseeing large surveying projects. He then moved on to Liverpool City Council, surveying their corporate stock and managing minor works to schools, before working directly for a housing association on the Wirral, focussing on their asbestos management. Following a move to Devon, Rory then worked as the Head of Surveying for a large South West based housing provider, taking the lead on projects addressing the sustainability of their existing stock. He moved into his current role in October 2022 where he is Head of Net Zero for Rand Associates. Rory Henderson FCABE CEnv said; “Being awarded CEnv membership has been very positive for me personally and for my employer. It’s given me access to a network of other professionals and adds a significant distinction to the sustainability work that Rands do.” “I would encourage you to pursue CEnv registration. I found the process of gaining CEnv very straightforward and easy to navigate.” Read Rory’s registrant profile here and discover the amazing everyday work of a CEnv professional.
