CABE welcomes CityU SCOPE to become an International Academic Partner

				  CABE is delighted to welcome the School of Continuing Professional Education of City University of Hong Kong (CityU SCOPE) to become the 7th Academic Partner in Hong Kong to further academic collaboration.   Through this partnership, both CABE & CityU SCOPE will co-operate to enhance international exposure of CityU SCOPE students in built-environment programmes.    
     CABE HK Chair Kyran Sze presented Dr Thomas Tong, CityU SCOPE Programme Leader, with the International Academic Partnership certificate.
          Mr. Sze said, "I am most pleased to see the cooperation with CityU SCOPE, which has been acclaimed for its long history in advancing knowledge for professionals."   "The new partnership also exemplified that CityU SCOPE's BSc (Hons) in Construction Management and BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying in collaboration the University of Wolverhampton have gained accreditation by CABE."   "Their students are able to start their professional journey with CABE and get a taste of the experience in joining a global recognised professional body while they are studying."   Dr Tong said, "The academic partnership will effectively enhance the synergy for both organisations, making a greater global impact together."   "CABE is a licensing body of the Engineering Council.  Our students and our graduates can broaden and deepen their international perspectives to be qualified as Chartered Engineers via CABE in future after they have registered for CABE membership."   CABE actively forms strategic partnerships with renowned universities and schools globally fostering the growth of the next generation in the industry.  Over 50 academic partners worldwide currently support the Assocation, with ongoing efforts to expand further.   CABE Hong Kong has invited staff and students from CityU SCOPE to attend a CPD seminar on "Recent Technological Advancement in CdTe-based Building-integrated Photovoltaics" on 27 July 2023.
