CABE Southwest Region are inviting you to attend an upcoming regional CPD – Waterproofing Design to Below Ground Structures; presented by Jack Linley-Shaw, Managing Director of Damp Co Ltd.
The presentation will be held at Newton Abbott Rugby Club, Newton Abbott, and will take place on Wednesday 19 October at 18:30.
The session is designed to provide you with an overview of waterproofing design to below ground structures, with
the contents giving you a greater understanding into the grades of waterproofing systems and the design principles behind them. The evening will touch on the many variables which can occur across different sites and will cover the most common failures
in design and how these can be avoided.
By the end of the CPD you should have a greater understanding of:
- BS 8102 structure grades - types A, B & C waterproofing systems - the benefits for each
system - the limitations and potential failures; and - combination systems.
