Logo Usage & Guidelines

Logo Usage

When using the CABE logo / CABE member logo / CABE Company Partner logo / CABE Academic partner / CABE Benevolent Fund logo a Member or Company Partner must:

  • comply with CABE’s Code of Professional Conduct
  • comply with the obligations set out in CABE’s Regulations and Bylaws
  • not alter the logo without permission
  • not use the logo in a manner that could bring CABE into disrepute
  • not use the logo in a manner that could bring the profession into disrepute
  • not use the logo on social media, without prior consent by the PR & Communications Manager.

Guidelines

All logos are available as either .jpg or .eps formats and can be obtained by Contacting us with you Membership number.

The colour of the logo must not be altered in any way, if you require a white version, please contact the CABE Marketing Department for approval of its use.

The clearance area of the horizontal logo must be relative to the size of the logo and is, therefore, equal to the width of either x2 or x1 of the negative space circle section within the logomark. To preserve legibility, the horizontal logo should never be shown smaller than 30mm wide.

Individual members

Individual members (except Student member ) are entitled to use the CABE logo or the CABE member logo and the appropriate designation for your grade of Membership on personal emails and business cards. Individual members, with the exception of Sole Traders, are not entitled to use the logo on their website.

The CABE logo and the CABE member logo must not be used to endorse any product or service.

Sole Traders

Sole traders are entitled to use the CABE logo or the CABE member logo and the appropriate designation for their grade of Membership on personal emails and business cards. Sole traders can also use the CABE logo or CABE member logo on their business’:

  • website
  • stationery; and
  • letter headed paper.

The CABE logo and CABE member logo must not be used to endorse any product or service.

Company Partners

Businesses that are registered with CABE through our Company Partner Scheme are entitled to use the CABE Company Partner logo on that organisations:

  • website
  • business stationery
  • email signatures
  • letter headed paper.

Employees of CABE Company partners may also use the CABE logo if they are individual CABE members (see above).

The CABE Company Partner logo/CABE logo must not be used to endorse any product or service.

Academic Partners

CABE Academic Partners are entitled to use the CABE Academic Partner logo on the organisations:

  • website
  • business stationery
  • email signatures, and
  • letter headed paper.

Employees of CABE Academic partners may also use the CABE logo if they are individual CABE members (see above).

The CABE Academic Partner logo/CABE logo must not be used to endorse any product or service.

 

Board Members / Regional Committees / International Chapter Committees

Board members, Regional Committees and International Chapter Committees can use the CABE logo during their role. It must not be used on any activity undertaken outside the remit of your role on the board or committee and must clearly state your role for the Association and your designations for example Vice-President, VPCABE.

Uses could include:

  • official documentation
  • communication to members
  • during official CABE events.

It must not be used on any activity undertaken outside the remit of the board/committee and should not be used to endorse any product or service.

 

CABE Benevolent Fund Trustees

Trustees of the CABE Benevolent Fund are entitled to use the CABE Benevolent Fund logo in relation to their role. It must not be used on any activity undertaken outside the remit of the charity and should not be used to endorse any product or service.
