Mr. Kyran Sze, Hong Kong Chapter Chairman was invited by HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE) to speak to its Diploma in Surveying students about the opening of the CABE Hong Kong office, membership opportunities and the exciting developments that have happened at CABE over the last 12 months.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the presentation was delivered remotely, and it was encouraging to see over 70 students attend the event eager to discover more about CABE as well as discussing the important of joining a professional Association.

Part of CABE’s mission is to improve collaboration and competency within the construction industry and we are dedicated to supporting members throughout their careers. From students just starting out on their career journey, through developmental, right through to Chartered Fellows each grade demonstrates the level of experience and qualifications that an individual holds. Reflecting their level of competency and expertise.

As a Student member of CABE, members are given access to the new buildingengineer.org.uk site as well as being able to get involved on the CABE Community, networking with other Building Engineer throughout the world.

After the event Mr. Sze spoke with HKU SPACE colleagues and received some really positive feedback from both the staff and the students many of whom were keen to get involved with the Association.
