At CABE, we are helping members to navigate through the wealth of information out there on Coronavirus.


 With today's announcement that Scotland is looking to ease some of their restrictions from next week, please find below a round up of some recent announcements relating to the pandemic.



 Free Webinars from BEIS

The Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is hosting a series of webinars offering advice on how to make workplaces COVID-19 secure.

There are two sessions that may be of interest to CABE members, register below:

UK Government's Business Support Videos and Webinars

To help support business affected by COVID-19, the UK government has produced a number of free videos and webinars offering advice on the different support packages available to businesses to help them deal with the economic impact of the coronavirus.

Claim a Grant through the Self Employment Income Support Scheme

If you are self-employed or a member of a partnership and have been adversely affected by coronavirus you may be eligible to apply for a taxable grant of 80% of your average monthly trading profits.

Working Safely During the Coronavirus

CABE members are reminded that if they are working on site, they must follow the UK Government's Working Safely during Coronavirus guide and the Construction Leadership Councils Site Operating Procedures - Version 4 in order to keep themselves and their colleagues safe.
