With the Northern Ireland Assembly last night announcing the easing of some aspects of lock down from Monday, we would like to direct all CABE members in Northern Ireland to the Construction Employers Federation (CEF) website for the latest information on working safely on construction sites.

The Health and Safety Subgroup of the Construction Employers Federation (CEF) Covid 19 Taskforce has complied a selection of resources and links to help individuals working in the construction sector to keep themselves and their colleagues safe.

Information includes:

  • COVID-19 Site Specific Safe Operating Procedure
  • CLC’s Site Operating Procedures
  • Making workplaces safer during the Coronavirus.

Republic of Ireland

For those members who work close to the border to/or in the Republic of Ireland please be aware that you need to follow different guidance which can be found on the Construction Industry Federation website.

Remember no work should be undertaken it you are unable to follow the Operating Procedures, or if anyone involved is showing any signs of the virus.

Keep safe.
