Dear Member,

Since the launch of the CABE Benevolent Fund COVID-19 Emergency Grant in April we are pleased to report that we have already been able to help members throughout the worldA one-off payment has been sent to successful applicants and in most cases, we have been able to process the payments within a few days.

Lock down restrictions may be easing for some, but the ‘new normal’ that is emerging brings its own challenges and complications. It will certainly be a long time before businesses and the economy will be functioning as before.

The COVID-19 Grant

Remember the CABE Benevolent Fund COVID-19 Emergency Grant is there to help ease the immediate distress of members, including those who are currently unable to work due to having to self-isolate or through illness.

If you do find yourself struggling due to the effects of COVID-19, please consider applying for the CABE Benevolent Fund Emergency Grant. The application for this one-off payment of £500 can be found at and has been developed to make it as easy as possible for you to apply.

Don’t forget, you can also apply for the regular CABE Benevolent Fund for further financial assistance and support.

Both the Benevolent Fund and the COVID-19 Grant were set up by building engineers; established to help when times are tough, so please reach out and let us help.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has kindly donated to the CABE Benevolent Fund, your donations are making a huge difference to so many members during this difficult time and with your kindness we can now support even more members who are struggling.

If you would like to donate visit our donations page

With regards,
