We are pleased to announce that the CABE Built Environment Awards 2020 are now open for nominations.

The 2020 Awards will be presented to organisations, individuals or projects that made a meaningful and impressive contribution to the field of Building Engineering during 2019 and provide Building Engineers with an excellent opportunity to be recognised for all their hard work and dedication to the construction industry.

Everyday Building Engineers work on projects throughout the world. They are committed to making buildings perform better: more inclusive, safer for all and sustainable over time, but their role in the delivery of these projects is sometimes overlooked.

These awards allow Building Engineers to stand up and shout, I was involved in this project, my expertise was crucial in delivering this building. They celebrate members achievements, their innovative ideas, their knowledge, skills and competence.

There are five award categories, each one covering a distinct sector of the industry, recognising the wide range of projects Building Engineers are involved in:

New Build

Preservation & Conservation

Maintenance or Refurbishment

Building Health, Safety & Wellbeing

The awards are free to enter, simply download and complete the submission form, and return it along with any supporting evidence to by 31 May 2020.

The winners of the awards will be announced during a gala award dinner, this year being held at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Stadium MK on Thursday 1 October 2020. Shortlisted entries will be invited to attend the award ceremony. Book your place at the Built Environment awards dinner.
