The Northern Region have confirmed their Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 16th January 2020 for a 19:00 start at SPACEWORKS, South Gosforth, Newcastle.

Digital Construction - Using BIM to Reduce Risk and Improve the 'Golden Thread' in Housing Projects

This seminar brought to you by Adam Ward, Designer, of Space Group, will discuss how the advantages of Digital Construction can help clients to reduce risk and improve the ' golden thread' in housing projects.

BIM is changing the way we design, construct and manage buildings. Space Architects are striving to stay ahead of the curve and lead the way with regards to innovation and best practice within the region with all projects following the principles of the Government’s strict Level 2 BIM mandate.
The team have been using digital construction methods to improve their workflows since 2001 and today are viewed as pioneers in the digital construction industry.

The session will provide opportunities to share thoughts and ask questions to encourage a lively debate.

Registration, Networking and Refreshments from 19:00. The presentation starts at 19:30 for around 1 hour.
Hot food will be available after the session.
Parking is free at the venue. Access the venue via The Northumbrian Suite (lower) entrance.
These events are run by members for the benefit of members and your obligatory 35 hour CPD requirement can be fulfilled by supporting these events. Non-members and other Professionals are also encouraged to attend.

*We work closely with other professional institutions to provide CABE members with up-to-date skills and knowledge. Members of collaborative associations offering free CPD for CABE members will not be charged.

Students studying any construction related topics will be welcome at no charge. Please see a regional officer to discuss competencies and routes to CABE membership.
Other Non-Member attendance will be £10 per person payable on arrival - details on ticket.
