This seminar brought to you by Mark Smith, Head of Energy & Innovation at Engie, will cover the innovative Core 364 district energy project currenlty being delivered in partnership with Gentoo Group to 7 residential high rise blocks in Sunderland.

The presentation will look at the challenges of integrating ground source technology within inner city spaces as well as advancements in the renewable energy industry as a whole. The scheme utilises Kensa’s district heating system architecture to produce the multiple benefits of reduced fuel bills, energy security, electrification of heat, decarbonisation and reduction of particulate emissions.

The session will provide opportunities to share thoughts and ask questions to encourage a lively debate.
Registration, Networking and Refreshments from 19:00. The presentaion starts at 19:30 for around 1 hour.

Hot food will be available after the session.

Parking is free at the venue. Access the venue via The Northumbrian Suite (lower) entrance.

These events are run by members for the benefit of members and your obligatory 35 hour CPD requirement can be fulfilled by supporting these events. Non-members and other Professionals are also encouraged to attend.

*We work closely with other professional institutions to provide CABE members with up-to-date skills and knowledge. Members of collaborative associations offering free CPD for CABE members will not be charged.

Students studying any construction related topics will be welcome at no charge. Please see a regional officer to discuss competencies and routes to CABE membership.

Other Non-Member attendance will be £10 per person payable on arrival - details on ticket.
