On 6th June 2019 Government published ‘Building a safer future: proposals for reform of the building safety regulatory system’ which sets out the next steps in Government’s response to the tragic events at Grenfell Tower, and recommendations made in Dame Judith Hackitt’s independent review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety. This consultation document has far reaching implications for CABE Members, and many other disciplines, in terms of; conduct, competency, safety, oversight, legislation, and working methods. The subsequent discussion will cover the vital information and the likely scope of the reforms proposed by it.


Registration, networking and bacon rolls from 8:30am.

The presentation will start at 9.00am for approx. 1 hour.

Parking is free at the venue.

These events are run by members for the benefit of members and your obligatory 35 hour CPD requirement can be fulfilled by supporting these events. Non-members and other Professionals are also encouraged to attend.
